For years, I believed quality outdoor furniture had to be made from wood or heavy wrought iron.

That's simply what I grew up seeing. Wood had warmth and character. Iron felt timeless. If something was made from anything else, I assumed it was a compromise.

Then we bought a camp in South Louisiana.

Like many camps, it quickly became a gathering place. Family would stop by. Friends would come for the weekend. Sometimes we'd arrive knowing we'd be hosting people only a few hours later.
