The Kodiak uses two Bafang 750W hub motors, one in the front wheel and one in the rear, each producing 85 Nm of torque with torque-sensing technology. You can run the front motor alone, the rear motor alone, or engage both together for true all-wheel drive, built for snow, mud, and sand.
Range depends on terrain, elevation, rider weight, wind, temperature, and assist level. Most riders see around 40-60 miles of real-world range on a single battery, and over 100 miles with a dual-battery setup.
The included 52V/4A smart charger recharges the 20Ah battery in about 4-5 hours from empty. Charging takes slightly longer with a second battery in the system.
The Kodiak AWD SD is built for off-road use. Its fat tires, dual motors, and front suspension handle sand, snow, mud, rocks, and steep terrain, while the removable throttle and 9-speed drivetrain give you precise control on technical trails.
Bakcou Connect is optional. For an added fee, it adds smartphone-based location tracking, remote locking, and battery health monitoring, with the first year of service included and subscription fees afterward. You can add it at checkout.
The Kodiak AWD SD comes with a one-year limited manufacturer's warranty covering the battery, frame, motor, controller, wiring harness, and display. Register your bike within 30 days of delivery to activate coverage. It's valid for the original owner only and covers manufacturing defects, not normal wear, misuse, or modifications.
