The Scout Jäger is built for riders who want the agility of Bakcou's sport-trail Scout combined with the reliability of a German Rohloff Speedhub. Its 14-speed Rohloff internal gear hub gives it stronger climbing ability and more reliable shifting, and it pairs full-suspension design, fat-tire traction, and a 48V 21Ah battery for extended range, with internal cable routing for a clean, responsive ride.
The Rohloff hub gives you a 14-speed drivetrain with a 526% gear range. Because the gearing is sealed inside the hub, there's no exposed derailleur to catch debris or mud, and you can shift through multiple gears while standing still, so you can get into the right gear before a climb. It all adds up to less maintenance and more reliability on rugged trails.
The Scout Jäger is rated to carry 250 lbs of rider and gear combined. It comes in a 19-inch frame built for riders 5'10" and taller, and the fat-tire, full-suspension setup keeps things comfortable even when loaded up.
Not without a special axle. The Scout Jäger isn't compatible with Bakcou trailers out of the box, but a different rear axle is available separately for towing cargo or a deer cart.
